Real-time hybrid simulation (RTHS), dividing the emulated structure into numerical substructures (NS) and physical (PS), is a powerful technique to obtain responses then assess seismic performance of civil engineering structures. A transfer system, servo-hydraulic actuator or shaking table, used apply boundary conditions between two substructures. However, inherently complex system with nonlinearities may introduce time delays RTHS, which will decrease accuracy stability RTHS.
